made in Japan.I love these scissors! I was TERRIFIED to cut my babies nails. For awhile I would just file them but I finally became brave enough to cut them with these scissors. I cut her nails as she slept and it was simple. You just take their finger and make cuts where you see the nails. I recommend that you wait until their nails are long enough so you have something to easily cut. It is a lot harder when their nails are short. You have to clean up all the nails but it isn't that big of a deal.
